BAFTA Game Awards, melynek keretében újfent megemlékeztek a tavalyi, meglehetősen erősre sikeredett esztendő legjobb videójátékairól. Nem meglepő módon érvényesült a papírforma, avagy sokadszorra is a Larian Studios mindent letaroló CRPG-je, a Dungeons & Dragons alapokon nyugvó Baldur's Gate 3 aratta le a babérokat – összesen öt díjat zsebelt be a produkció. Nem meglepő módon a szintén a 2023-as élmezőnybe tartozó Alan Wake 2 stúdiója, a Remedy Entertainment sem távozott üres kézzel, ahogy a Super Mario Bros. Wonder alkotói is megkapták a nekik járó elismerést, míg az alaposan kikalapált Cyberpunk 2077 a "legjobb folyamatosan fejlődő játék" kategóriában tudott győzedelmeskedni, tovább öregbítve ezzel a CD Projekt RED hírnevét.
